Savage 8606 to Kansas

Savage (SVGX) 8606 got traction motor #3 replaced at UP Denver Locomotive Shop, Denver, CO, this week. Unit moving from Green River, WY, to Kansas.

I'm assuming that since it's on the UP it will go out on the MDVSI? Anyone know the units final destination in Kansas?

Then it's probably heading for the texaco refinery in El Dorado as a switch engine for the plant..

So these guys figured out they'll actually need two engines to switch all that tonnage with...in other news they're finally laying track on their new yard on the south side of the refinery. Feb 15th is the rumored date for these guys to take over.
