Very difficult to read the number, I think it is BN 458596. Or the last digit may be a 0. You be the judge. I was just happy to see this old covered hopper.

Nice. ACF had some trouble getting the BN logo right. This series had the right side elongated, and some fuel tank cars in the 875000s had off-spec logos - from memory the top half of the 'B' was too long.

I called these "Dolly Parton cars" due to the enlarged B...
