Cloudy day on the Austin Sub
Author: PALuvR

40% chance of rain here in the Austin area. Cool, no sun, a few sprinkles of rain - quite nice actually.

Heard about a SB coal train leaving Sneed in North Austin heading into Bergstrom for 2. Shortly after I arrived there, a NB train arrived and stopped on the main. The SB'er finished climbing Bergstrom Hill and entered the siding. The first NB left followed about 20 minutes later by the 2nd NB.

The SB is "local" coal train with its array of "Fallen Flag" hoppers - MoPac, Rio Grande, CNW and BN. Its first stop after leaving Bergstrom is to drop cars at Texas Lehigh in Buda and then continues south.
