I'd be curious to know what type of truck it came out of. Maybe a compressed truck like a ride-control or buckeye, just a wag
Date: 11/05/12 19:56 Re: Need a Wheel Lathe !!! Author: qman That WAS a HUGE bullet we dodged on that one !! The control valve was the culprit the caused the brakes to remain applied. Oddly, the wheels on the other end of the car were in relatively good condition. Go figure ????

In the wheel shop, we would condemn "overheated wheels" if the redish-orange rusted area radiated 50% in toward the hub on an otherwise servicable wheel.
