Western Railroad Discussion > Building an abandoned railroadDate: 11/07/12 13:12 Building an abandoned railroad Author: LarryDoyle New Lite-rail construction in Minneapolis/St Paul on University Ave includes several sections a couple hundred feet long of "abandoned trackage". Missing granite pavers have been filled in with fresh plantings of tall decorative grass!
-LD Date: 11/07/12 13:59 Re: Building an abandoned railroad Author: MrMRL I like the 2-3 foot long "rail" sections. Are they also cut stone? or actual rail?
Mr. MRL Date: 11/07/12 14:17 Re: Building an abandoned railroad Author: LarryDoyle They're stone or concrete faux stone. They look pretty good though, don't they? The pavers are true granite.
