Since nothing else happens in the Bay Area...
Author: SCUfoamer

Last Friday Union Pacific send down the two Spirit of Washington F units from Stockton to Wastsonville. Since us south bay rail fans have it rough, This was something of a very serious exciting event. I keep an eye out online about its location and finally got them on my way to work (got there 15 minutes late), but it was all worth it

Did they change the crew there and keep going to Watsonville or set them out for another train?

Sadly I had to go to work, I believe they changed crew and went straight south light power like they had from Stockton.

I assume they changed crews. The dispatcher told a Capital they were being held for a short time light engine move.

Yes, this is major excitement for the South Bay these days!

Perhaps those Fs will be running on the special passenger trains in Watsonville, Aptos, Capitola, Santa Cruz ... this weekend.

Yes, a crew change occurred at CP Coast (Santa Clara Caltrain station) and this whole consist continued on to Watsonville Junction.
