Center-beam flat in action
Author: walstib

Tonight I am staying in GIlroy. I have figured out that when a northbound trips the detector at milepost 83.3 I have just enough time to scurry down from my third-floor hotel room, drive to the corner of the parking lot by the tracks and set up the tripod for a time exposure.

Tonight's Salinas Hauler had a string of empty center beam flats. Here are a couple of them whizzing by.

Thanks for looking.

Unlimited length and capacity a boon for customers! No trucks to maintain pleases railroads! It's win win!
