Thanks for sending #1996 over our way in the east, now it looks as if we've sent a couple goodies to yall. NS 1072 Illinois Terminal & 1065 Savannah & Atlanta are leading UP train MEWEY to Eas Yard in San Antonio,TX. I do not know a location of the train.

Interestingly, it appears that NS 1072 was on the Union Pacific on 9/21/12 when it was interchanged to the UP at Ogdjct IL on train LNSKDJ 21. It then went to Global 1 IL, where it was handed back to NS. Then, on 11/18/12, both NS 1072 and 1065 were interchanged with the UP, this time in New Orleans LA. They ten operated on train MNSEW 19 to Englewood TX. From there they were assigned to train MEWEY 21, headed to East Yard in San Antonio TX. They passed through Luling TX at 20:11 today (11/21) and are scheduled to arrive in San Antonio at 22:54 tonight.

Whereto and when next ??

Emissions testing in San Antonio at some research institute. I wouldn't expect them going anywhere anytime soon...
