The Fuel system is pressuized to 30,000 psi & will cut right though you if open the doors whiles the engine is running & its leaking. So for safety UP is storing them until there fixed by GE.

Author: JRRedzone Yeah, that's what my locomotive director said Omaha told him. So it may only be 3000 psi. Most of those college boys in Omaha don't even know what a locomotive is.

They were cutting steel with super high pressure water jets, mixed with silica powder. The guy told me I wouldn't even know my hand would be cut off, the stream was so strong.
I believed him. I stood there, behind the safety glass, watching the water jet precisely cut stainless steel into perfect shapes for productiong work. All by water cutting. Amazing. They came west to California on the ZG2LT's and meandered on the ILTLT (Lathrop - Oakland - Lahtrop intermodal, "The Shuttle") for a few days before being parked. I caught the 7964 on its only trip out here, being towed DIC from Oakland to Roseville on the MOARV, pulled by the boring but reliable 52xx GEVO's.
