Confused Hopper Back With the Normal Crowd
Author: BNSF-6432

Several years back I spotted this car a few times going through Tulsa, OK on loads and empties.
And within a week ago, i saw the same car, 7423 with the numbers corrected and patches where CX an 23 originally were. I'd add a shot of the fixed version but unfortunately by the time I realized it was going past me and I put together what it was, it was out of range.
Apparently someone got a little tired numbering new coal cars.

Back in the day, the L&N's nickname, liberally displayed on its hoppers, was "The Dixie line". IIRC, there was a photo in Trains of a dyslexic L&N hopper, with the slogan "The Xidie line" !!

Also,

There was the case of the agnostic, dyslexic insomniac. He would lie awake at night wondering if there really was a dog......

Reminds me of a NAHX Trinity 5127 covered hopper I saw a few months ago with the reporting marks misspelled "NAXH".

Reminds me of my uncle Otto. The only word he could spell correctly was his name.
