Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF Holiday Special in Temple today

Made another quick run up to Temple today. Did see the Holiday Special parked on the west end of the shops. Couldn't see real well so I'm not sure if if I saw the front or the back. So I'm not sure if it came off the Lampasas Sub or is heading west on the Lampasas Sub when it leaves. But it was there today. Sad to say, was unable to get a shot.

Did catch a few pics however of other stuff.

Santa Fe and Katy. Is the old MKT depot still standing next to the UP main? Temple must have been a hell of a place back in the days!

Yep, still there and appears to be in pretty good shape. Last pics I took were a couple of years ago. But from a distance looks the same.
