Western Railroad Discussion > UP passenger special on the Choctaw Sub

While BNSFDS was shooting the BNSF special at Fort Worth (see a couple threads below this one),
UP also an a special through Fort Worth today.

Here she is northbound passing through my hometown of Argyle, TX having left Fort Worth 45 minutes previous.

Classey vista dome - no bi-level on this train, no sir.

Obs car passing by the Argyle Eagle water tower, apparently unnoticed by anyone by moi.

the "Walter Dean' is a very nice car. I had the enjoyment of riding in it behind 844 two years ago. I would love to repeat that trip.

Is that lead unit the 7523?

On the 50th Anniversary Special? If so I was in the City of Portland next door. We walked through the Walter Dean, very nice car.

so what is this...Livonia to Muskogee ( just guessing ) ??
