Western Railroad Discussion > Wild Goose Chase for a TalgoDate: 12/02/12 18:48 Wild Goose Chase for a Talgo Author: Milw_E70 As some of you probably know, BNSF is moving a new ODOT Talgo trainset from Wisconsin to the AAR/FRA Test Center in Colorado for certification testing. In what had been a well planned out day by yours truly ended up becoming a wild goose chase courtesy of Team BNSF (I should know better by now). The weatherman also said there wouldn't be a cloud in the sky too today...boy was he wrong!
1. Q SAGKCK1 01A with a standard cab NS GE leading three others at Plymouth, KS. 2. My favorite barn just east of Plymouth as westbound S KCKSCO1 01A rolls west. 3. Jumping east to Lebo, KS, westbound Z WSPSTO9 02A rolls by at Emmer Rd. Date: 12/02/12 18:50 Re: Wild Goose Chase for a Talgo Author: Milw_E70 4. Meeting up with TO'ers "santafe199" and "bnsfsd70", the wild goose chase pays off as the westbound Talgo special, J CRALAJ1 01A eases under the Eisenhower Terrance bridge just west of Ottawa, KS. Wonderful high clouds making their presence known...
5. One last shot as the ETD on the M EMPKCK1 02A meets a westbound H KCKBAR3 02A stopped at the same spot. I'm sure the rest of the gang will have more pics to come soon... Thanks for looking! Date: 12/02/12 19:08 Re: Wild Goose Chase for a Talgo Author: ns1000 NIIIICE pics!!!!!
