I caught the MDVSI, Denver to Salina , this afternoon. Two units on the front and it was really a long train and it had a DPU on the end. I don't remember ever seening a DPU before on the MDVSI. upkpfan

I believe this may be a first time with a DPU as well Marv! It was a pretty big train after it departed Park, KS. Rumors circulating that they are only going to run the MDVSI once a week! I'm not sure who will pick up the ethanol cars then, maybe the MSIDV?

Bring back the Salina-Oakley local! Or, have a Oakley to Ellis local and a Salina to Ellis local...especially since the Salina to Hays local gets paid to run to Ellis...they seldom do.

Yes, the MDVSI will only run EB now on Mondays but will have a WB on Tue. and Thur. upkpfan
