Frost Weekend
Author: DRGW

I spent a few hours yesterday at Frost located on the BNSF Cajon Sub in Victorville, and a few hours this morning as well. Westbound traffic was slow yesterday, and very busy today. Below is a series of photo's from the last two days.

12/8

1. After about a hour wait, UP sent this baretable west and is seen passsing over the tail end of a Eastbound BNSF general freight.

2. Next up was a short UP MOW train with UP AC6000 7302 leading.

3. BNSF 7494 leads this eastbound towards the Flyover.

12/9

1. BNSF 7836 leads a westbound over the Flyover as another in a endless parade of early morning eastbounds passes.

2. Right on the 7836's tail was this long stack train with BNSF 7355 leading.

3. Bringing up the end of the westbound parade was UP's MNPWC freight with UP 7859 on the point.

Thanks for looking,

Great railfan instincts to be there when you were, to catch the multiple meets! Was it windy when you were there? Thanks for the great coverage.
