Second set of photos. Treated myself to a new wide angle lense and learning the in's and out's today.

Photo #4 looks alot like SP's idea for the "Sunset Route" herald.

Judging from your photos you have learned real quick with your new lens. Excellent work. Congratulations on IOTD.

Perfectly outstanding.

If the action is relatively close and at the edge of the wide angle be sure to keep the shutter speed up to avoid blur.

What size of lens did you use on the first shot?

Thank you all for the kind comments. Still surprised to be the IOTD. Several people have asked, so, the camera is a Sony SLT-A65V. The lense is a Tamron SP 10-24MM 1:3.5-4.5 wide angle.

All six pictures were taken with the same lense. The other lense I use is a Tamron 70-200 or a Tamron 18-55. I have been very pleased with the image quality and am still learning what I can and can't do with the lenses. The wide angle is rapidly becoming my favorite option.

I have taken a lot of photo's at Thompsonville Rd., but none have been nearly as good as these are. Very well done indeed.
