Author: SteveD Glad someone clarified state, as there is a similar (Selby--tnx to Shortliner for correction) in California along Carquinez Straight in S.F. Bay Area named for family who built and ran early smelter at that point (elder of family also once served as S.F. mayor and owned large estate in Menlo Park, used steamboat to compete with S.P. for transport services along S.F. Peninsula).
