Remember, some think they are "entitled" to do whatever they want.

I believe hes speaking about KRON's Stanley Roberts who does a great series called "People Behaving Badly", worth a search on "The Tube", pretty entertaining...

Look at all those lights!!!

Bicyclists continue to prove that traffic laws do not apply to them!!!  And they still wonder why drivers don't like them and they get into accidents or killed.

You must be talking about most/all of the bike riders here in Austin, TX.  For the most part, traffic laws are NOT for them, especially traffic signals and stop signs.
One has to be careful driving around here in Austin because the bike riders continually run red traffic signals, stop signs and ride in traffic lanes even though there are bike lanes for them.
The police don't do anything about it when they seem them break the law.
And God forbid you hit one of them if they were at fault because it is ALWAYS YOUR FAULT and you are going to pay through the nose and other places.
I don't know how or when they developed this attitude.  They have even run over and injured folks and unless their bikes were damage or the bike ride injured, they just keep on riding.
Just crazy around here.

Smart was having issues with crossing gate activation. Has the problem been resolved? As one who lives local in Marin, Smart seems to be running trains day and night for testing. What are they testing? I've heard nothing but complaints about traffic caused by SMART from folks who work around downtown San Rafael. Maybe the Marin Trench like Reno?
Nice photos

But just remember Dick that the laws of physics is on your side.   i.e. "He with the most mass wins!"

I am a bicycle rider having done nearly 2000 miles this last season.

One thing all bicycle riders know is that when there is a "problem" the bicycle rider always loses because the other vehicle is bigger and heavier.

Car drivers are so stupid at intersections frequently not following the rules of the road. Somehow folks on bicycles are second class citizens not entitled to be there. Not often, but sometimes I ride through stop signs because otherwise I would be run over by these folks.

I usually ride on rural roads at or near dawn when the road is empty or nearly so. I can't tell you how many times stupid drivers have forced me off the road. There is plenty of space!!! Give the bicyclist some room!

Really? Then explain the kamikazee mentality of those who run red lights in front of traffic. Oh I forgot, bicycle riders are "entitled" to do whatever they F'N want. You yourself pointed out that you sometimes run stop signs, so don't say a word when you get a bumper up yer ass.
