Western Railroad Discussion > There was more than AmtrakDate: 01/08/17 19:28 There was more than Amtrak Author: twjurgens Here's a few more from yesterday in Lincoln, NE. About mid morning, a late CHIDEN was near 1st and H with 6699, 7622, and 5217 as power. It seemed to me that the train was longer than usual so they probably needed all that power. The church in the second view has some sort of market on Saturday mornings and it was breaking up when this train arrived. Some of the participants, both on foot and in cars weren't particularly careful with the approaching train. The engineer was really laying on the horn!

It's unusual not to see any grain cars parked on the tracks out by the airport. Kinda neat to get a clear shot on this part of the trackage here.
