Oh good, MRL can use the traffic (he said, laughing).

Sounds like adding more trains to the parking lot of the Hi-Line/MRL.

What's the routing once they get off MRL?

Billings/Cheyenne/Denver/LaJunta to the transcon?

In the previous times this train has detoured via Idaho, Utah and Nevada. So I'm surprised it's not heading that route this time.

Trains will be going both ways. Westbounds will route Missoula-Yardley-Pasco. Eastward trains will go Laurel thence either Sheridan or Greybull.

As fbe said, Sheridan or Greybull. Beyond that it's usually to Denver and Amarillo and to/ from the west.

Around the mountains, not through them.

Bend to Wishram should be okay.
Yesterday afternoon BNSF stole most of the power off a VAWBAR here and sent it back to Wishram light engine with 4 Wishram crews on it.

Sitting in Cheyenne for a few days, I'm seeing nice traffic levels on the BNSF but it seems to be unit oil, unit kitty litter or frac empties an coal to the north. Guernsey was empty yesterday, noticing Cheyenne yard is empty and seems to be kept empty. Nothing in the yard and crews are sitting on their trains until relieved.

BNSF stationed a van and driver in Dunsmuir. I'm guessing that there will be some detours on the Valley/Black Butte Subs as well. Not to mention the two BNSF trains showing up on our line up...

To detour trains via MRL would mean they're also going via "The Funnel" and through Hauser.  Would that mean the congestion mess there has cleared up?

Not or even close. But not let that get in our way.
