UP's Washy Line Derailment and Shutdown

A loaded grain train derailed several cars in the tunnel just south of Palouse Falls State Park north of Joso, WA. The site is VERY difficult to access and will cause a multi day shut down of the Ayer Sub. Even the Great Northwest RR (Watco's former Camas Prairie RR) was told not to run the interchange train to Ayer.  I barely missed a photo of a work train with two locomotives and 4 cars of panel track racing south at Cheney, but did get this photo of a Boardman Coal train tied down in the siding.

You compose some real nice photos. I like the look of the sky in this photo, a nice contrast between it and the snow.
