Oregon Pacific commissioned Jim Matuska (rrartist) to do the painting of Portland Traction 100 and train on the now abandoned Boring line bridge over the EsPee main at Willsburg Junction when the SP 4449 was heading to Sacramento. The painting is slightly modified from the original photo by Greg Brown by centering the reefer on the bridge. Once framed the painting will be mounted on the living room wall in my home which is next to the OPR East Portland line about a mile from the location depicted in the painting. Jim did a marvelous job on this project and thank you Greg! Dick Samuels Oregon Pacific Railroad |
