Continuing west and north shooting depots, cabooses and other railroadiana as well as several trains that were out running.

1.     After shooting the Lodi CA depot we could hear and approaching train in the distance so we waited to get a shot of UP 8745-4534-5256 with the ZG2LT

2.     A late in the evening almost dark stop at Dunsmuir CA netted QPDRV UP 6720 C&NW with more-than-obvious patch work on the nose and cab number, but still nice to see that shade of yellow come around the curve and the Operation LifeSaver 

3.     Early morning arrival of Amtrak #14 at Klamath Falls OR

4.     At Halsey OR we found the terrain flat like the KP in Kansas or the main line in Nebraska and could see the approaching headlight for  couple of miles of UP 5490 with a nice 4x2 manifest.

Wow, Lodi has changed since the late 1960's and 70's when I running around there. There were wig-wags on every crossing in town except one. Nice catch of the CNW patched unit. You're making good time on the road.
