Western Railroad Discussion > Las Cruces N.M. Train Day

On April 29th , from 10am-2pm, the Las Cruces Railroad Museum will be hosting our annual Train Day. Come see historic re-enactors, model trains, flag signaling and toy steam engine demonstrations. In addition there will be representatives from AMTRAK and Union Pacific with exhibits, and BNSF will have an engine on display. As an added treat, the NM Rail Runner will be available to walk through.
As part of the Las Cruces Country Music Festival, there will be live performances from Vince Alten and Daisy Blue on our loading dock between 11am and 12:30pm.
As always, events at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum are free to the public.

Yes, but no passengers, paying or otherwise. Seems like an unnecessary expense given that NM is broke and the governor vetoed all legislative budget bills this past month.
