A Busy Saturday On The Northern Trsnscon with Some Variety

It went from clear to cloudy in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 63/37 and breezy. Traffic was steady today. Here are the catches from today and one from yesterday.

4/28/2017

1. WB 657pm grain train with BNSF 8414-5253 on the point with DPU.

4/29/2017

2. DPU's Warbonnet 692 and BNSF 3998 on EB 1002am manifest train.
3. WB 1028am coal train with BNSF 6123-5773 on the pull with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot and wave from the hogger.

4. DPU's BNSF 4454-9087 on same train.
5. EB 1121am grain train with BNSF 3846-H1 1107 on the point with DPU.

7. A good poker hand hopper with four 7's. I just liked the number, lol.
8. DPU BNSF 8486 on same grain train.
9. EB 1219pm manifest train with BNSF 5239-8085 and NS 6927 on the pull.

13. EB 241pm manifest train with BNSF 6623-H1 1064 and NS 2650 on the pull with DPU's at Bauman Rd.
14. Another power shot of same train.
15. DPU's BNSF 4820 and company fading away towards CP W. Tokio.

16. EB 317pm "Z" train with BNSF 6320-4201-6593-6074 on the point.
17. EB 328pm "Z" train with BNSF 8234-6327-8555-9067 on the pull. Don't usually see two Z's in row going same direction.
18. WB 355pm oil train with BNSF 6834-5025 on the point with DPU's.

19. DPU's 9335-5970 on same oil train.
20. WB 445pm oil train with BNSF 4628-8896 on the pull with DPU. Had a quick visit with Ted Curphy at this spot as he was driving thru town taking his excellent pictures.
21. DPU BNSF 9020 fading away on same train rolling by old NP Ritzville Depot.
