UP Train v. Trespasser in Pico Rivera
Author: OCVarnes

KABCLA (Ch. 7) news is reporting a train v. trespasser incident in the Pico Rivera area.

The images showed a law enforcement officer on a bridge inspecting the area where the incident occurred.

West of that location was a stopped UP freight train. The train appears to be the Robertson rock train.

From the Metrolnk web site:
Riverside Line: tracks are closed near Montebello due to police activity. Expect delays on train 404 and 411. For updates please follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Interesting, I used to see the Robertson Rock Train inbound going through El Monte on the Alhambra Sub. I presume they can use either route.
