Depot Friday--Dayton WA . . .
Author: SCKP187

Only 1 depot for today's installment.
This is probably the most ornate depot I have seen in a long time, especially for a UP depot (originally built by the Oregon RR & Navigation Co)
It is also the oldest depot in the state
1. Dayton WA depot
2. Beautiful sculpture on the platform--the guys eyes appear to follow you as you walk around the sculpture
3. National Registry medallion
4. Plaques denoting the history
Thanks for looking
Brian Stevens

Wow Brian, what a neat depot along with the conductor and dog watching your every move. I haven't seen that depot yet, hopefully soon.
