Western Railroad Discussion > Downtown Wichita, KS view of Union Station and coal train

With all the talk about the Amtrak going through Wichita, KS. Thought I would share this video I made with Union Station as a Coal train came thru downtown. I was in town for my son's High School Graduation very proud of him. So this was on May, 23rd. The reno they did on the outside really looks good as you will see. There is also some shots of the Museum. Got sound with this Drone video as well!

Awesome! And thanks for including the sound, which adds so much to the experience. Not having been in downtown Wichita before, this provides a great overview of the layout there.

One of my favorites. Great video!

While Craig was capturing the coal train from high above with his drone, I was taking the video of the same coal train from ground level. I edited the end of the video since I'm sure no one wants to see the entire train. Craig did a good job of that. :)

The sound is a great addition to your work. You've got KCK and Wichita, is Topeka next?

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. I have been asked to do quite a few places never really thought about Topeka and its not that far from KC. I don't like doing them in the same place twice so I will have to get there. Have only been there once so you might have to PM a couple good spots that you would recommend. I am getting ready to take a weeks vaction and plan on checking off a couple places. Lance if you are listening I will meet up with you first promise ;)
