Tehachapi Pass - Ascending the Loop
Author: tehachapi-dave

On a crisp, slightly breezy spring morning, a low rumble erupts across the Tehachapi Pass. It's the sound of several thousand horses, only these horses are built, not born, as they pull from a stop at Woodford, to once again attack the hallowed mountain railroad on Tehachapi. Their next challenge? Negotiating the tight curves and tunnels of the Tehachapi Loop, one of the greatest railroad engineering feats ever imagined or completed. Turn up your speakers and listen and watch as this train makes it's final assault towards Summit, a mere 10 miles away. Enjoy!

Great vid, thanks for sharing! The Loop is such an amazing place, I hope to be able to capture some sense of that on my layout.
