Caught a late #6 today at Berks (actually Wittstruck Road) and, unbelievably, about a mile and a half west of Greenwood. Berks is about 25 miles southwest of Lincoln, NE on the Hastings Sub. Didn't even have to break any speed limits, well, maybe just a little.

BNSF has been fairly busy through here the last few days and the traffic congestion must have held Amtrak in Lincoln much longer than the usual 5 to 10 minute stop. Good news for me but not so good for Amtrak and their passengers! That longer than usual stop paid off for me.

Power was UP 4590, AMT 200, and AMT 3. The first two shots are at Berks and the 2 following shots are about a mile and a half west of Greenwood, NE.

Other than the UP leader, this was just the standard #6, 2 engines and 10 cars.

Here's my take on this train from Tuesday evening in Painted Rock NV. Wonder where the PV was dropped off.
