UP 1689, 2013, 8434 there had to be one modern locomotive. Mesa, (Jordan Narrows), Utah 6-22-2017. Utah Railway SD50S's 6061 and 6060 on the RUT611. Provo to Ogden Manifest. These are 2 of the last 3 SD's running on the Utah Railway. SD50S 6063 and 6064 have reportedly been sold to Metro industries. And the MK50-3 are already on the Kyle. That leave us with 2 grey and red SD50S and one orange one.

And last of all I stopped by the Midvalle yard for some of the last rays of sun. A sting of 5 of Utah Railway's local power GP38-3 and GP40-3's, also in the back ground are the Savage GP38's

I drove through Provo yard yesterday and 6063 & 6064 were still sitting in the yard. 6062 was MIA but I assume it was just in the shop being worked on. It will be sad to see the SD50S go but in some ways it will be good for Utah as the SD50S are full of issues now.
