2- UP 4900 West, SD70M, led unit military train up the Big 10 gaining elevation to climb up to Moffat Tunnel. View is near Rocky, CO, June 16, 2017.

DTTX 747140 well car with tanks as UP 4900 West entered tunnel 1 in Coal Creek Canyon west of Arvada, Colorado, June 16, 2017. New transport method for the Army?!?

The tanker modules fit on to a standard HEMETT to make it an instant fuel truck.

Actually, the load on the TTX well car is NOT a fuel tank. It is a Load Handling System (LHS) compatible Water Tank Rack (Hippo). It stores, transports, and distributes potable water up to 2000 gallons. It is air and ground transportable both full or empty. It has a self-contained generator and pumping system and can store unfrozen water down to -25 degrees. Any vehicle with a load handling system and a 10 ton cargo capacity can move it (HEMTT or PLS and their trailers are the U.S. Army's primary movers). The frame is ISO compatible allowing rail and ship transport, as seen in this picture.
