Snow in Bavaria!
Author: santafe199

With summer temps reaching scorching record highs in some parts of this land I thought I'd toss up an image that'll cool yer heels just a bit. Let this train pass by while you stand as close as you can in your imagination. Let its wind draft hit you in the face. Like that blast of frozen air when you first enter a deep freezer. Refresh your memory: that icy wind draft will also roil up those fine granular particles of snow that always tickles your eyes & nostrils.

Better cover up that lens, though...

1. UP 2429 leads the Salina west local through the Spring Creek bridge at Bavaria, KS on January 30, 2013.

Thanks for looking!

It's mid to upper 60's for a high here in NW Wisconsin, and I am 80+ miles from Lake Superior.
