Author: rrartist

My latest work is a Watercolor original that is 10" x 14" in size which depicts the DMIR Yellowstone #221 moving a trainload of empties in the Fall season. This piece is available if there is any interest. Thank you for taking a look! On to real thing, CP 2201 - Soo 4410 pound through Bangor WI with 135 empty sand buckets this past Wednesday morning while this the morning the NS 6785 leads the BNSF X-WTRNSI past Victory WI.

Your painting of the DM&IR 221 is stunning!
VERY impressive work, sir! I lvoe the low
angle, and all the details. You did a superb
job depicting this mighty Yellowstone in all
her glory and power. Wow..... Thank you for
sharing your excellent painting with us -- they
alone are more than worth the cost of many years
of TO membership.

And thanks for the nice photos. I am just stunned
by your painting, so that is why your nice photos
did not make that kind of impression on me, and,
besides what diesels can ever be anywhere remotely
as impressive as even a small steam locomotive?
