warbonnet locomotive and a caboose on the Moffat line
Author: Bnagelcolo16

With a warbonnet locomotive leading a train with a caboose, you would think it was the early 80’s
1 East bound BNSF freight on the siding at Rocky west of Denver waiting for Amtrak number 5 to pass.
2 BNSF freight departs Rocky for Denver.
3 Burlington Northern caboose #12517 on the rear of the train.

I didn't realize there were any former Frisco cabs still in service.

I wonder if that is the caboose that has been in Parachute, CO and used as a shoving platform?
