I used to live at the corner of Granada and Mission Road, at the east end of the Alhambra Trench and now at the west end of the San Gabriel Trench.  I see in this Google aerial view that there will still be a good view of the tracks from there-  https://goo.gl/maps/KUaib2c4ktu  I'll have to drive by and take a look at the new trench.
