This mornings hike on Cuesta Grade.
Author: SPgoletablock

Heard the empty "Oil Cans" passing behind my house at 0430 hrs but wasn't sure if it was worthy of a chase Westward as it's been pretty foggy in the morning lately. About an hour and a half after that I got a message from a good friend that the crew call was for 0830 hrs at San Luis Obisbo. Popped my head up and looked out the window and I saw stars and clear skies, so off I went. I arrived at SLO at 0800 hrs about the same time as the empties. The vantage point I wanted to hike to was a 30 minute stomp and I got there with about 15 minutes to spare.
-ODOWP-26 winding their way out of San Luis Obisbo crossing Stenner Creek Trestle.
-UP 8029 and company are navigating the horseshoe curve at Chorro.

Well worth the hike. Sometimes you appreciate a shot you have to work for instead of just being track side.

Great looking pair, thanks for the share! And thanks for "toughing it out" to get these. That Chorro Horseshoe is something else.
