HI Everybody? I know that UP runs Coal Trains to Green Bay and Wausau,Wi. Which Route do they take? CN's Leithton and Waukesha Subs? Or do they Take the Milwaukee Sub. Do they enter CN trackage at West Chicago or somewhere in WI?

To Wausau. The plant is located in Weston, Wi just a tad southeast. The UP routes train to Adams, Wi on Altoona sub. crew change there takes train to Necedah, Wi where they curve off the UP main and make a connection with the former Milwaukee, Soo, CP line from New Lisbon, Wi which heads north to Weston. CN now owns this line, UP has trackage rights and uses own crews. Train ambles up line thru Wisconsin Rapids, Rapid city, crossing of the old SOO main now CN and then to Weston. UP Also operates a thru train from Itasca yard, (Superior, Wi) to Adams a few times a week. This also UP crews with trackage rights on the CN lines .. When BN and SOO/CP had contract, BN delivered train to Soo/CP @ Daytons Bluff, Mn, aka St Paul/Minneapolis. CP ran train south out of Twin Cities to New Lisbon where they would take west leg of the wye and head north towards Neceedah Wis rapids etc...

Instead of Rapid City I think you mean Junction City, WI where the old Soo, Superior/Chicago, mai line crosses the old
Milwaukee, New Liabon/Wausau, Valley Line? All lines now owned by CN.
