Date: 07/28/17 01:54 Re: GE Fort Worth produces 1000th loco, moves production from Pen Author: coach The next step is to fire all American GE Transportation managers and outsource their managerial work to India. They can SKYPE meetings, do conference calls, etc. There is no need at all for GE's "high priced" American managers and engineers and CEO's, when bright, willing and able managers are waiting for work in India. Really-get rid of all American managers. It's just about the dollar bill, and nothing more. People don't matter--they're expendable. So expend all of them, GE. Then watch them stop buying good and services in their local town...

Not sure they pay less. Posted from Android Date: 07/28/17 06:24 Re: GE Fort Worth produces 1000th loco, moves production from Pen Author: Lackawanna484 Many manager jobs are likely to go in the near future.
In particular, investment managers are on most short lists of jobs likely to be automated. The process lends itself to being replaced. Along with car salesmen, etc. Posted from Android Date: 07/28/17 07:10 Re: GE Fort Worth produces 1000th loco, moves production from Pen Author: Milw_E70 Not to mention the lower cost of living and no state income tax in Texas...

But GE believes their managers and executives, fully versed in the GE process culture, are their Crown Jewels of IP. Now, the people who actually DO stuff, they're easily replaced.
