BNSF7429 with a USMC unit train

here is the engineer's side of the BNSF 7429 waiting on the Niles Sub for clearance near MP34, then on to the Coast line south through the Newark yard towards San Jose. This looks like a Combat Engineers unit. And, there are some very interesting pieces of equipment being transported.

Good move getting him at Centerville - had to wait a lot longer at San Jose.

Was some of that of that equipment for disarming IEDs or mines? Pretty heavily armored stuff.
