I caught the CVR arriving in Dodge City today. The power lash-up included a GP30 and former D&RGW SD50.

Are the GP26's still out and running? Or did they retire them?

Actually, I think 4227 is an ex-C&O engine. The ex-Rio Grande GP30s still have their original 30XX numbers.

The ex-UP 9861 is ex-DRGW 5517.

CVR 5111 is ex-C&NW 7005.

Thank you for the correction. I was certain SD50 9861 was ex-D&RGW, and was thinking all of the CVR GP30s were ex-D&RGW, but didn't know for sure - I know a couple of them were lost in a wreck years ago, so hopefully the CVR still has at least one that is former Rio Grande.

5111 worked on the A&O in West Virginia back when Watco operated it.

3020 died in the wreck. Reborn as the 20.
3004,14,23,24 still there. Can't remember which one wiped the crankshaft out. It's sitting.
