BNSF A-B-A consist on the Barstow Local
Author: CNW8531

An A-B-A set of Geep's were on the Barstow job yesterday heading across town in the Quad Cities from East Moline to Rock Island and back. It had been a while since I'd seen any GP60 B's out and running and I thought it made for some interesting power.

Cool. Those are the same three units I saw on a local last month: https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,4365426,4365426#msg-4365426.

Two "cab-less" 300-series units are in the Kelso/Longview WA area and were also seen two days ago in Tacoma south bound. I did not get the number of their current lead engine as the Amtrak Cascades view was partially blocked in both directions yesterday.

Get the "swoosh" on that B-unit and it'll be a calendar shot.

Tis interesting that even in the H-1 scheme, there are variations due to when and where the paint was applied!. Yes, three swooshes would be neat!
