Well it's been a while since I have posted any photos here on TO, but today I had some to post. I have some images to share with you all from my family trip to the Portland area a week ago. All of these shots are from the Columbia River Gorge, one of my top three areas to railfan in our great country. It was so sad to see all the fire damage along the Oregon side near all the beautiful water falls which are still closed sadly. Hope you enjoy them, and thanks for lookin! Adam Pizante

1. UP eastbound grain train in Hood River. OR crossing the bridge.
2. UP grain train once again east of Hood River as it nears the Dalles.
3. As falls on the Gorge, this UP Z train streaks west word somewhere deep in the Gorge. .....more in next post.

5. BNSF Z train shot from the Oregon side as it rolls westbound on the Washington side of the river with great fall colors.
6. Same BNSF train with a slightly different angle.

Awesome series!

Beautiful photos of trains in the Gorge! However, the mountain shown is Mt Adams in Washington State and not Mt. Hood as seen from near Hood River, Oregon
