I got some better shots of CBR 3823 with the custom paint job as they were first backing into the yard in Eugene, OR and then heading out of town with one empty centerbeam. Go Mapleton Sailors!

Boy I hope they have more freight loads than 1 center beam car....someone has to pay for that paint job.....

CPRR - In the first picture they were backing in with at least 50 fully loaded centerbeam cars full of fresh lumber, so no worries. They likely grabbed more cars on the way and there is also a loading site west of town that they usually switch.

Yeah, nice paint! I am diggin it'. Would make old Mr Sherman Williams proud!
Have you guys seen lumber business pick up in the past few weeks with all the disasters in the CA, SW and Florida?

I'm betting the increased tariff on Canadian Softwood Lumber is making a difference.

Cool maybe they will do a purple and gold Marshfield Pirates one next. I remember in the late 90's they used to beat us (Thurston High in Springfield) and most of the other Eugene area high schools quite handily.
