F-units have returned to the Royal Gorge Route! Canon City and Royal Gorge Railroad 403, CRRX 403, F7A, and CRRX 1503, F7B, ex-Alaska RR 1503, ran along the Arkansas River west of Canon City (Cañon City), CO, January 12, 2018.

Nice video, that large Dome car reminds me of one I worked on belonging to " Princess Tours " , back when the cars rode behind Train # 14 out of LA, CA

Pretty cool.

It's a shame none of the original D&RGW engines and passenger cars couldn't have been preserved and used in a service like that. But that's now how life works unfortunately.
