A Few Minutes at Bridge 14
Author: DelMonteX

To quote Seneca "Luck is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity". I did the prep part and the opportunity arrived. In this case I was prepared for Cascades 505 at Bridge 14, where it's not supposed to be, and got two more trains.

Steilacoom, WA. BNSF Seattle Sub 2/5/18

Enjoy the video and the still.

Nice work, Steve. In a way, sorry to see the Cascade service on this line, that train should have been on the line through Ft. Lewis, but the panty waist politicians, regulators and media can, and at the drop of a hat, will stall progress til hell freezes over.

Great video , excellent . I wished everyone skipped through long freights as you did hear . Watching every car in a 175 car freight passing by is the same as sitting at a crossing, boring.

Sure can tell that the first picture was taken at or near low tide!

Awesome video, the timing was great to have the UP headed northbound just as the BNSF cleared southbound. How many UP trains run along this route on an average day? Haven't ever rail fanned this line, but did get to ride the Talgo through there once.

Enough that at times you wonder who's railroad it is. That said, I don't have numbers that would be anything more than a wild guess.

Great video.. but the actual train sounds would have been better than the MUSIC...

Is the golf course in the far distance where the US open was a few years ago?

Thanks for sharing--great stuff and well executed. Wow, if we had drones in the old days the things we could have done.

Even if there was a mic on the drone, all you would hear is the sound of a swarm of angry bees.
