Western Railroad Discussion > A February Morning Along the RiverDate: 02/21/18 09:06 A February Morning Along the River Author: rrartist We all have done it, you know, we hear about ONE train and that ONE train becomes our goal, our focus. BNSF 1012 and the U PEMCXP was that train this morning as I waited 17 miles south of La Crosse WI in 11 degree partly sunny weather. The top two images are just north of Genoa (WI) and the bottom image is next to Victory.

Back in the truck I heard the CP Iowa Dispatcher give the NS 8121 South a warrant from CP Kains to Marquette Iowa. I drove south to De Soto WI and crossed the Mississippi River into Lansing (IA) where I intercepted the NS 8121 and it's Sand train.
