It was another COLD day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 29/9. Since clouds have moved in, should be above 9 degrees tonight. Traffic was fairly steady today. Nice to have the backyard clear of MoW equipment, lol. Here are the catches from today and a few from the last two days.

2/19/2018

1. WB 1131am manifest train with BNSF 8584 on the point with DPU.

2/20/2018

2. DPU's BNSF 1065-7611 on WB 954am grain train.
3. WB 1002am intermodal train with BNSF 8240 and CP 9551 on the pull with DPU.

Nice shots. Great consist in that last train. Arctic blasts are brutal--would be much better if you got some snow with it--stay warm.

Could anyone with the connections look up the symbol for the EB that BNSF 286 was leading?

I believe that is iron ore from the Red Dog mine in Alaska, destined for the Teck-Cominco smelter in Trail, BC.
