Golden Hour from Mormon Rocks
Author: SCUfoamer

After a cold and windy day, the storm finally breaks for the very last moments of Sunshine on Cajon Pass. With minutes to spare, a BNSF stack train attacks the grade at Mormon Rocks as the sun dips behind the mountains.

Nice shot. Neat to see the sun on the front of the train and the shadows in the background. Looks like another train in the background?

I was in that area at that time of day on Saturday, but didn't try that angle. Very nice! I'll have to try it next time.

(BTW, that looks like a Stack train from the ports, not a 'Z' train)

That IS a great shot! I have not seen one like it before. Very dramatic. Excellent job!
