And here is 3021 in its first life, as C&O 3017, here on the ex-Pere Marquette on the trestle over the Boardman River in Traverse City, MI in March of 1972, bringing home the Petoskey Turn. An early photo of mine. It's nice to see it has been repainted again, when it left Swan Ranch outside Cheyenne, WY it was looking ratty and had a mechanical problem that made it smoke excessively. Also nice to see where it went, as I had not heard, good to see a GP30 being maintained. === === = === JLH
